Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Where do my split videos get saved? A: By default, your split clips are saved into a dedicated "Splitify" album in your iPhone's Photos app. You can change this in the app's Settings to save them only to your Camera Roll (Recents) or to any custom album of your choice.

Q: Does Splitify add a watermark to my videos? A: No! Splitify never adds watermarks to your videos. Your content remains exactly yours.

Q: Are my videos uploaded to a server? A: Absolutely not. All video processing and splitting happens entirely on your device. Your videos are never uploaded, stored, or analyzed by us or any third-party servers.

Q: Why does the app need access to my Photo Library? A: Splitify needs access to let you select which videos you want to split, and to save the final chopped clips back to your device. We use Apple's secure, standard photo picker so your library remains private.

Q: Can I use Splitify while doing other things on my phone? A: Yes! While a video is splitting, you can minimize the app. You can track the progress live on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island, and we'll send you a notification as soon as the export is completely finished.

Q: Why isn't a certain video showing up in the app? A: Currently, Splitify only processes videos that are saved directly to your device. If a video is stored in iCloud and hasn't been downloaded to your phone yet, it may not appear or may need to be downloaded in the Photos app first.

Q: The app is free, how do you make money? A: Splitify is completely free to use without subscriptions. If you find the app helpful, there is a "Tip Jar" in the settings menu where you can buy the developer a coffee to support future updates!

Q: I have a different issue or a feature request. How can I reach you? A: We'd love to hear from you! Please email us at [email protected] and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
